Additional Checkout Requirement for Mainland China

For orders shipped to Mainland China, buyers will encounter an additional mandatory field at checkout to collect their Resident ID number, officially known as the People's Republic of China Resident Identity Card (中华人民共和国公民身份号码). This is required to comply with customs and shipping regulations.

Field Details:

  • The Resident ID number is 18 characters long

  • Built-in validation ensures accurate entry

  • Buyers without a Resident ID may enter their passport number instead

Purpose:

  • Used for customs clearance

  • Appears on shipping labels, invoices, and refunds
